I have the honour and pleasure to be with you at this delightful spring evening of Mostar.
Since I started my duty in this beautiful town, I have always attached great importance to Mostar Spring Festival. I have been exerting efforts for his Festival to be widely known also in Turkey. Because, with its almost 1,5 months of duration and with its rich content, I consider this Festival as one of the most important cultural activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As you remember, “Ankara University Quartet” gave a hearthwarming concert to all of us last year. This year we would like to come up with an activity which will address to the eyes. And we decided to organise a photo exhibition, titled “Four Seasons from Mostar to Anatolia” the theme of which fits quite well to the purpose and spirit of Mostar Spring Festival.
I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr Josip Muselimovic, the Director of Matica Hrvatska Mostar and his esteemed Assistance Ms Misijana Milinkovic. Because they have taken the risk of including my amateur exhibition to the Festival program, which is composed of Works of professional artists.
Believing that our cooperation with Matica Hrvatska will be further strengthened in the coming years, I extend my heartful regards to all of you.
