Following graduation, he worked in various private sector institutions in the fields of banking and finance. He later served at the Ministry of Agriculture within the scope of a UNDP project, and subsequently joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007.

At the Ministry, he held positions in the Directorate General for Consular Affairs and the Directorate General for Support Services. Abroad, he served at the Embassies in Islamabad and Brussels, as well as at the Consulate General in Münster.

He assumed his duties as Consul General in Mostar on September 15, 2024.
