The Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Mostar is our country’s first Consular mission and second Turkish representation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, following our Embassy in Sarajevo. It is located right in the heart of the historic Old City of Mostar. The Consulate General was officially inaugurated in June 1996 with a ceremony attended by the late H.E. Süleyman Demirel, 9th President of the Republic of Türkiye, and the late H.E. Alija Izetbegović, the first President of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since then, our Consulate General has been carrying out its duties and continues to contribute to strengthening the bilateral relations between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
